- The Fix-and-Flip Investment Scam: I was also defrauded through a separate scheme where I was instructed to wire funds directly to Vantage Point Properties. I was told these funds would then be sent to Apex Management and invested in fix-and-flip real estate projects, promising a monthly return of 10-12%. Despite the note being called due, none of these funds have ever been recovered, nor has any interest been paid.
